FORGING THE SUN AND WEAVING THE MOON
By Lotte EkkelDrawing on Chinese philosophy and the dynamic balance between opposing forces such as yin and yang, Lotte Ekkel’s photographs explore moments shaped by light, atmosphere and quiet observation.
Working primarily with natural light and found situations, her images move between intention and intuition, where reflections, shadows and colour quietly unfold.
The series will be presented by NewHouse this spring at MIA Photo Fair, Milan, and Art Rotterdam.
